Melt: Signal Sauna Thermal Residency (2024)
Multiple Dates - Pittsburgh, PA
Accompanied by musicians David Bernabo and Slow Danger
Located on a gravel lot between warehouses, Signal Sauna offers a calm respite where visitors can sweat, chat, and cold plunge together. In spring and summer 2024, owner Ryan Campbell invited me to take up residency with my thermal cameras and projectors. Over a series of nonconsecutive evenings, Ryan and I choreographed experiences combining music, projections, and live camera feeds that gave visitors a visual reflection of their embodied experience.
